Fabid Ahmed, the middle order batsman, joined the list of centurions for Pondicherry with a knock of 103 not out against Mizoram here at CAP-Siechem Cricket Ground, Pondicherry. Like his predecessor M.Vignesh, Fabid Ahmed displayed a smooth style of batting to remain unbeaten on 103 off 157 deliveries, with 10 fours and one six. Fabid Ahmed was well supported by B.Ranjit, the wicket-keeper with a partnership of 90 runs for the 7th wicket. Fabid Ahmed’s century, led Pondicherry team to scent the first every victory for Pondicherry in the first year of its outing among the big league.
