Womens Senior One Day Trophy (2020-2021): Pondicherry v Sikkim (Alur Cricket Stadium II)

Having decided to bat first, the lightning struck in the form of both the openers of Sikkim being dismissed for naught by Jaya and Kani wrecking the havoc. However, it was Amruta Saran, who struck with the first five wicket haul of the season to return with figures of 5 for 11 off 8 overs. Sikkim was all out for 68 off 16.4 overs only to stare at an imminent defeat against a good batting team.
Though Yuvashri was out early for nine, the other opener B.S.Tamore (31 off 42 balls) and Roshini (27 off 48 balls) finished the formalities to take the team to 68 for 1 off 16.4 overs to win the match by nine wickets.
