CAP have qualified Umpires (30), Video Analysis (15) and Scorers (15)
In view of the increased work load, CAP planning to increase qualified professionals in the above categories.
Applications are invited for Training and exams to qualify additionally
Video analyst 15 nos
Scorers 15 nos
Umpires 30 nos
Qualification for Video Analyst is minimum BE in any branches below 30 years of age with in depth knowledge in Cricket. Good communication skills in English. Command computer operations especially mastered in XL.
Qualification for Umpires & Scorers : Any degree with decent English and in depth knowledge in Cricket and below 30 years of age. Should be good in computer operations. Scorers should have neat hand writing skills.
None of the above professionals will be appointed by CAP on roles. They will be engaged as and when their services required and paid for the number of games / days hired. Free training will be given at Pondicherry by CAP and if need be professionals from BCCI. Those passing exams will be engaged for CAP matches and for BCCI conducted matches if they qualify BCCI exams.
Preference will be given for Male or Female, those born in Pondicherry state or studied and living in any part of Pondicherry with valid Voter ID, Aadhar Cards etc. and if played in CAP conducted matches.

Before end of January 2020.
No daily allowances during training. However for the selected candidates hailing from Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam will get accommodation and 3 meals or allowances during training & exams.
District candidates should forward their applications through their respective district CAs endorsements.
Selection will be only on merit and passing interview. CAP have rights to accept or reject any candidates without giving any valid reasons.
Those applying must read CAP and BCCI rules and regulations in CAP and BCCI websites, unconditionally agree all of them and strictly obey the code of conduct.
Strictly no recommendations or lobbying will be entertained.
