Visakhapatnam, 22 Aug’19: Put into bat first, ACA Secretary XI started with their top order failing to struggle at 43 for 4 at one stage, was retrieved from a disaster by Druva Kumar Reddy (45 off 66 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes) and Vinay Kumar (44 off 28 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes), who were ably supported by Girinath Reddy (39 off 63 balls) and K.Bhagath Varma (39 off 38 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes) and finished with the score 243 for 8 off 50 overs.
In reply, opener K.B.Arun Karthick scored freely with matching support from Karthik Sukumaran. Both the openers of CAP missed the opportunity of scoring a century with K.B. Arun Karthick out for 94 off 83 balls with 12 fours and 2 sixes and Karthik Sukumaran was out for 91 off 101 balls with 12 fours. However CAP was home to win the match comfortably by D/L method with the score reading 233 for 4 off 37.5 overs.
