Women’s U-19 One Day Trophy 2019-20 : Pondicherry Vs Arunachal Pradesh (KSRM College Ground)

After Tanishka Sen dismissed Arunachal Pradesh opener Popi for 1, she also dismissed the other opener Memu Thayem, but this time with her fielding, run out for 2. This set Pondicherry to dominate over the opponents, which was grabbed by Aarti Gautam. With good support from the other end from Heena Hotchandani, Subiktsha and Amruta Saran, who took a wicket each, Aarti Gautam ran through the opponent with a five wicket haul and returned with figures of 8.2-3-11-5 to wrap Arunachal Pradesh for 50 all out in the Womens U-19 One Day Trophy, played at KSRM College Ground, Kadappa.
In reply, Pondicherry openers Yuvashri and Nithya put on 24 runs for the opening partnership when the latter was out for 13. With opener Yuvashri, remaining unbeaten on 18 and no.3 batswomen Roshini, 11 not out, Pondicherry reached the target with the score 51 for 1 and won the match by 9 wickets.
