The Pondicherry Senior Men’s team announced their self as a serious competitor in the recently concluded Sir Vizzy Trophy conducted by Andhra Cricket Association, it’s a 50 over format tournament in which states like Mumbai, Uttara Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Indian Oil Corporation, Baroda participated.
CAP beat Baroda in Quarter finals on the mighty Mumbai in the semi-final to get into the final against Indian Oil Corporation. CAP in its big maiden senior level tournament shown grit fervours and end up as runners up in the tournament.
