Pondicherry registered it’s innings victory against Sikkim in the Col.C.K.Naydu Trophy 2018-2019 at Palmyra Cricket Ground in Pondicherry.
Put into bat by Pondicherry, Sikkim were bowled out for 86 off 36.1 overs in the first innings. Akash Kargave impressed with the bowling and returned with a haul of 5 for 21. Akash was well supported by Arvind (2 for 13) and Sidak Singh (2 for 22).

Paras Ratnaparke, the no.3 batsman, led the reply with an aggressive knock of 101 off 90 balls, which was matched with a shot for shot and a whirlwind knock of 81 by Akash Kargave (81 off 53 deliveries which included 9 fours and 4 sixes) to reach the total of 313 for4 declared. Earlier, Pondicherry had a solid start to put 83 for the first wicket partnership between Raghu (44 off 39 deliveries) and George (48 off 62 deliveries).
