Opting to bowl first, Panthers bowlers found Lions roaring. With the Lusty hitting of Kamaleeswaran scoring 40 (2 fours and 5 sixes) off 11 balls Lions put on 157/5. Lions bowlers found the Panthers’ claws bigger as runs were easy to score. Panthers reached 160/8 to win by two wickets. Chosen man of the match Sidak Sidak sing (3 for 9) showed his sportsman spirit to nominate Lions XI batsman Kamaleeshwaran to be honored with the award for his 41 (2 fours and 5 sixes) off 11 balls.
