Siechem Pondicherry T20 Tournament: Panthers XI Vs Sharks XI (Siechem Cricket Stadium, Match 1)
Pondicherry, 11 Oct’20 (06.30 PM):
In the inaugural match of the first ever T20 cricket tournament of CAP between Panthers XI-Vs-Sharks XI ended in Panthers XI (61/2 off 13.1 overs) winning the match by eight wickets.
Having been put into bat, Sharks XI were off to a jolting start losing the opener Nipun Gaikwad dismissed for 6 by Arvindraj and without any big partnership and steady fall of wickets were bowled out for 57 off 20 overs. Sidak Singh took 4 for 9 with good support from Arvindraj taking 3 for 6. In reply, Panthers started disastrously losing two wickets when Ameer Zeeshan and Karthikeyan were dismissed for naught in the first over. The unbroken third wicket partnership between skipper Rohit (29 n.o.) and Shivam Singh (27 n.o.) took Panthers to 61 for 2 off 13.1 to win the match by eight wickets.
