Women’s U-23 One Day Trophy 2019-20 : Pondicherry Vs Sikkim (Ravenshaw University Ground-2)

After a good beginning, the momentum was lost by Sikkim Women U-23, who lost eight wickets for 46 runs after losing the second wicket when they were 40 for 2 as Pondicherry bowlers took turn to strike regularly. With only the skipper Sarojini scoring 24 off 50 deliveries, the rest collapsed without any resistance and Sikkim were all out for 86 off 42.1 overs. For Pondicherry, Sonal, Divya Shanmugham, Likitha and Deeksha took two wickets each.
In reply to a small target of 87 for a win, Pondicherry started with a loss of early wicket when Nandini was out with just one run on the board. While staring at 46 for 6, and Sikkim bowler Pranita taking three quick wickets, Likhitha (22 off 69 balls) and Subiktsha (18 off 28 balls) took Pondicherry to safety and winning the match by three wickets.
