Put into bat, Sharks XI batsman Premraj scored a quickfire 75 (6 fours and 5 sixes) off 47 balls, supported by Logesh scoring 51 (7 fours and 1 six) off 44 balls, led Sharks XI to post 189 for 5. In spite of Aravind (41 off 27), Karthik Reddy (39 off 24), and Thamaraikannan (39 off 28), Tuskers XI (161/9) lost by 28 runs. Premraj was declared man of the match for scoring 75 runs.
