It was a dream day for Pondicherry bowler Jaya though the Arunachal openers tackled the initial couple of overs till she dismissed opener D.Popi for naught and then in the company of Amruta Saran, the former devastated Arunachal Pradesh totally. Jaya returned with an envious bowling figures of 9.4-4-9-5, just shocking the opponent without any time for them to realise what was happening. Amruta Saran, one of the successful Pondicherry bowlers, once again unleashed her attack to return with a haul of 3 wickets. Arunachal Pradesh was all out for 42 off 34.4 overs.
Chasing a tiny target, B.S.Tamore straightaway went on hitting mode as if to catch a flight immediately after the match. B.S.Tamore scored 32 off 29 balls with 5 fours and 1 six, to take Pondicherry to 44 for no loss off 7.1 overs, leading to a 10 wicket victory.
