Women’s U-19 One Day Trophy 2019-20 : Pondicherry Vs Mizoram (YS Raja Reddy ACA Cricket Stadium)

Put into bat, Mizoram openers were coasting along nicely till the fall of no.4 batswoman Sagarika Sengupta, run out for 16, the score showing 83 for 3, and lost the momentum to a self-inflicted crumble in the Women U-19 One Day Trophy match, played at YS Raja Reddy ACA Cricket Stadium, Kadappa. With Tanishka Sen taking 3 for 19, Subiktsha and Amruta Saran taking two wickets each, Mizoram was restricted to 112 all out.
In pursuit of 113 for a win, Pondicherry lost three wickets with just only 48 runs on the board, but Heena Hotchandani (38 off 50 balls), Yuvashri (26 off 41 balls) and Amruta Saran (25 off 27 balls) took the Pondicherry to 115 for 4 to win the match by six wickets. With this win, Pondicherry gains 4 points to remain on top of the table with 28 points; winning all the seven matches played.
