Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019-20 : CAP Vs Meghalaya (Abhimanyu Cricket Academy)

Sagar Trivedi & Co., attack subdues Meghalaya:
Put into bat, Meghalaya started cautiously, but CAP bowlers Sagar Trivedi and Sagar Udeshi gave initial jolt to Meghalaya by removing the top order to put the opponents at 47 for 4 in the 16th over and with only a small resistance for the fifth wicket for 32 runs, and regular fall of wicket, Meghalaya were all out for 107 off 26.1 overs in the Vijay Hazare Tropy played at Abhimanyu Cricket Academy, Dehradun.
Sagar Trivedi and Sagar Udeshi remove the top order:
With a tight spell from Sagar Trivedi, who returned with figures of 5.1 overs 2 maidens, 18 runs and 4 wickets, well supported by Sagar Udeshi, who took 2 for 15 off 5 overs, the duo packed the top half of Meghalaya.
With small target, but tough wicket to play on, in spite of the opening partnership of 30 runs between K.B.Arun Karthick and skipper D.Rohit, CAP was suddenly in quicksand and in the gap of 38 runs, lost 6 wickets with the score board showing 68 for 6 in the 15th over. But, S.Suresh Kumar and the veteran R.Vinay Kumar took control of the game to plug the fall of wickets. With Suresh Kumar 37 n.o. and Vinay Kumar 20 n.o. CAP registered it’s first victory of the season with the score at 108 for 6 and gained 4 points.
