South Zone U-16 Women’s Tournament 2019-20 : Pondicherry Vs Hyderabad (CAP Cricket Ground-2)

To begin with a win is always a sweet one and this has been seen through by the host Pondicherry in the South Zone U-16 Women’s Tournament match against Hyderabad, played at CAP Ground-2, Puducherry.
Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat first. In spite of losing the opener Allivellu for 1 with the score reading 6 for 1, they recovered slowly and with Kanti Reddy’s knock of 44 off 34 balls, Hyderabad finished with the score of 128 for 4 off 25 overs.
Pondicherry’s sound start
Pondicherry openers Yuvashri and Parinata Yadav started very cautiously to develop a partnership and took the score to 30 for 1 when Parinata Yadav was out for 11. With a good support from no.3 batswoman Roshini Rajasekaran 26 off 41 balls and Amruta Saran Satsangi 17 off 15 balls, opener Yuvashri scored a patient 44 off 71 balls and Pondicherry won the match with the score 129 for 4 off 23.2 overs.
