After winning the toss Puducherry chose to bat first. After the dismissal of Sandhya Mounika in the first over, there was a semblance of recovery only till the fall of Ramya Maharajan and Kushboo Verma, both run out, were dismissed when the score was 15, the procession started and continued with two more run outs and Puducherry was all out for 33 off 18.5 overs without any need for Vidarbha bowlers to sweat.
